Job description:
We are looking for a renewable energy project financing expert to join our team. The incoming individual will take responsibility for raising significant investment to be channeled into the development of multi-MW solar power projects across Iran.
Project Development experience in addition to fundraising would be an advantage. Experience and knowledge of large scale renewable energy project development is required.
Key elements of the role will include growing a network of contacts within the investment banks and funds across Europe in order to generate a healthy pipeline of incoming investment which will be crucial to the growth of the company.
As part of a small and flexible team, the role may also involve developing project financing strategy and participating in due diligence on projects, but project finance fundraising is the focus of the role.
The successful applicants for this career opportunity will:
- Have an impressive track record in raising multi-million Euro investment
- Come from a banking or project finance background
- Have international fund raising experience
- Ideally have experience raising funds for energy generation projects, particularly renewable/alternative energy
- Be able to work independently and take responsibility for closing high value deals
- Expert knowledge of the Venture Capital and Private Equity sectors is essential.
