The first Iran- EU business forum in the field of renewable energy was hold with the presence of Mr. Chichian the Minister of energy, Mr. Adnan Amin the director general of International renewable energy agency, Mr. Canete the commissioner of European Union, Ms. Susanna Terstal the ambassador of Netherland and other national and international officials in the ministry of energy in Tehran.
According to the report from public relations of renewable energy and energy efficiency organization of Iran (SATBA), this forum was hold based on an agreement between the European Union and Islamic Republic of Iran. In this meeting many people were participate from governmental and private sectors with the aim of creating a close relationship among domestic and foreign investors and contractors in the field of renewable energy in the place of ministry of energy in Tehran.
This report also adds that at the beginning of the forum the Minister of energy, commissioner of European Union, General Director of International Renewable energy agency, Ambassador of Netherland, Deputy Minister and head of renewable energy and energy efficiency organization of Iran and head of foreign investment organization of Iran deliver their speech.
This forum continued with three technical panels in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and the role of gas in the energy mix of Iran.
