Iran’s largest solar power plant with the capacity of 10 MW in Isfahan

The largest solar power plant with the capacity of 10 MW was operated in province of Isfahan with the presence of Minister of energy and some of national and provincial authorities.

According to the report from public relations of renewable energy and energy efficiency organization of Iran (SATBA), this power plant was constructed by the cooperation of international power and energy investment Company (Ghadir) and its foreign partner from Greece in the province of Isfahan.

First Iran- EU business forum in renewable energies

 

 

The first Iran- EU business forum in the field of renewable energy was hold with the presence of Mr. Chichian the Minister of energy, Mr. Adnan Amin the director general of International renewable energy agency, Mr. Canete the commissioner of European Union, Ms. Susanna Terstal the ambassador of Netherland and other national and international officials in the ministry of energy in Tehran.

Iran climate changes / developing renewable energy

Minister of Energy in the first Iran- EU business forum on sustainable energy claims that Iran is one of the victims of climate changes / developmening renewable energy.

H.E. Chitchain mentioned that holding this business forum shows special interest of European Union and Iran’s organizations and policy makers to find a solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and global warming. He also claimed that Iran is a country that suffers from continuous drought due to climate change.
